I really never thought I would be "working" again so soon, but this "job" is like a dream come true!! I get to help vulnerable groups of people all over the world, wear beautiful pieces of jewelry and tell everyone the stories about the incredible artisans who make them, and meet lots of new people! It has been so much fun so far. I especially love when my kids ask me about my necklaces and I get to give them a little geography lesson on where they are from. I love that they are getting exposed to international issues and will grow up knowing that they can make a difference too!
I can't wait for lots more trunk shows! I'm especially excited to host shows for families who are adopting. I think that will be such an awesome experience, to help them raise funds to bring their child home!
