TWO whole years!

Yesterday we celebrated Zoey and Lyla's 2nd birthday!  So hard to believe that it's been 2 years since they were like this:



Now they're like this:



Most people say to me, "Wow, they're two already?  That went by so fast!"
To which I reply, "Umm, pretty sure that was the longest two years of my life!"
Kidding, just kidding.
Kinda.

It was been a crazy ride with these two (and two others)!  But for every tough moment, there have been  two wonderful moments!  Their little grins and giggles fill our house and I have loved watching them grow from babies to toddlers!

They are always into trouble of some sort... whether it's emptying all of my potted plants and spreading soil all over the lanai, or filling up the bathroom sink with water and bubbles and washing each other's hair, or getting all of the juice boxes out of the pantry and putting straws in all of them (and drinking them)!  I swear, they just follow each other around the house looking for trouble!










They melt my heart every day.  They love to snuggle, give kisses, and hold hands.  They're trying so hard to talk and their little voices are adorable.



Their latest antic is to climb into each other's cribs during nap and bedtime!  They haven't tried to climb OUT of the crib yet, thank goodness, but they love to sleep in each other's bed and we love to hear them in their talking and laughing!

We had a fun day yesterday... even though Daddy was out of town.  :(  We went to a local church's easter festival, talked to lots of family members, opened gifts, and had a picnic at park square... complete with "crazy cake" ice cream and sprinkles!  

Zoey and Lyla decided to end their day playing in the mud... lots of mud!  I really expected nothing less from them!  ;)
