The budget shopper strikes again!

I loooove bargain hunting!  I'm sure I inherited my love for a good deal from my mom and Mima.  Especially now that I have 4 kids to clothe, I'm constantly looking for cheap, cute clothes.  We're really fortunate to have some good friends who will pass along their hand-me-downs to us.  And I've been buying (and selling) a good bit on the Moms of Multiples Resale page on Facebook.  I sometimes splurge and go shopping at Target or Carters online.  I'm sure most people would laugh that those are the stores I consider a "splurge!"  But my favorite place to score a deal is the local consignment store.  I got a chance to go last week when I had a sitter over to watch the kids while I went to a doctors appointment.  I had a few extra minutes before I had promised to be back home so I decided to stop in and shop for a minute.  Here's what I got:

That's:
3 polo (Izod brand) shirts for Chase for school next year (they have to wear uniforms!)
3 pairs of shorts for Chase
1 top for Siena
2 coordinating Carters sunsuits for the twins
4 dresses for the twins (Gymboree, Carters, and Izod)
2 pairs of Crocs

15 items for $55!  The Crocs alone are usually at least $20 a pair!  And to make the deal even sweeter, I found out that I had store credit from when I brought in my old double snap n' go stroller a few months ago (totally forgot about it)!  So I only paid $17 for everything!

  2. That is AWESOME! I always LOVE a good deal - especially when it's for brandname items.
